Do you think this will be an actual movie? I love the plot but the acting seems a bit...well...forced but i'm willing to give it a try because i think the amazing plot will make up for the acting. I also think that the movie could use a better title...like "Releasing the Phantom" or something like that.

I think the concept is fascinating, but watching the trailers I don't think it will live up to it. Which is too bad. I'll still watch it, of course.

I agree. I'll watch it, too. I secretly wish that some big movie producer/director will pick it up and cast some real actors. i know that sounds evil but i do.

I for one am eagerly anticipating this movie. I've never seen one like it.

Woolsey, the creator of the film is shopping it to film festivals. It has note yet been released to theatres.

Yes I've been wondering about this movie I've seen this topic on phantomoftheopera.com and i haven't heard any more about it either where it will be released or will it go straight to DVD or what and i like the plot seems pretty good and instead of the classic story it takes the what if Erik was real plot but i agree i don't like the actors and the acting does seem force and Christine(in the movie it seems to have a different spelling) looks to old to be her but i still want to see this film you know that saying don't judge a book by its cover

I'd love to see it. I love the idea of finally uncovering the truth and what happened. But the acting was so,.... bland, and... well not good at all.
I hope to see it some how to see how the story goes and all that.

We have to give the acting a chance. If Woolsey raises enough money for the project, he could have it shot over with a better cast.

Good idea, they can't deny all of us access! There's always that chance we would start a riot.

No, no, no riots. We don't want America to look bad in the eyes of France. We must be very polite and us proper protocol. If that doesn't work, then we sneak in and steal the info.

According to various websites, "the opera mangers refuse to discuss the phantom...." fishy hm? In my mind that proves Erik is real! I don't know how yet, but I'll figure my mind out one day!

Don't know if you saw Carrie Hernandez's site before she took it down, but she only found one woman who would talk about the Phantom and she said the story was true. I'll have to see if I have that conversation in my notes.

I think it is, if Leroux was insisting upon Erik's existance on his death bed, that's enough evidence for me! I just want to find something to prove it to everyone else.
