I don't know about other states, but the original Phantom will return to Los Angeles, CA for a farewell performance at the Pantages Theatre from September 23 to October 17, 2010.

Guess is to give him time to permote Love Never Dies.

I'd like to see it again, but no job.

I am heartbroken that Phantom is ending! I know I just saw it last year, but I would have seen it again this year in a heartbeat!

I think ALW is going to be disappointed that Love Never Dies will not compare to the original Phantom. I haven't seen it of course, but it's hard to beat the longest running musical ever. And so many Phans are not happy with a sequel. I know it's a money thing, but it's the ending of an era!

There are good and bad reviews. The upshot is ALW will make money, but as you and I know it will never be like the original.

Turn up the sound and listen to Sierra Boggs sing "Love Never Dies". She plays Christine in the Vegas version and is in the sequel.

It's not bad, but the magic is not there.
