PROGENY BY BECKY MEADOWS

Progeny was an intersting Phan fic. No offense to the author, but it read like a soap. However, it was well written.

I didn't like the ending. Too sad!

Anyone else read this book?

Please no spoilers!!!! I'm reading this now and I don't want anyone to ruin it for me! I will literally kick them off the board. lol (or at least off of this section.) but don't worry Fay I already know it ended sadly. (I just stop reading the backs of them...)

What did you think of the beginning? When Christine discovered Erik was still alive? You've read past that I'm sure.

ladyghost good to see you. I've read the interview with Becky Meadows. You always have good ones with the authors.

Sorry to say, I'm am fussy with Phan fic and I was not impressed. It was better than some, but not really what I wanted in a fic.

I did not like the "surprise" at the end. But that's just me.

Its okay Fay. I'm still not there yet but so far Christine seems a bit out of character but I think the author had an excellent grasp of Erik.

Let me know when you can talk more about it. Actually, I didn't find any in character. Nothing like Leroux at all.

That use to happen in all sequels I'm afraid...

Guess you are right ladyghost. The ones I've read are never in character.

By the way, did you have any favorite parts of this book? What did you think overall? Especially in comparison to Kay's Phantom.

Waw, nothing can compare with Kay's book, it's the best!!!
I read Progeny a couple of years ago, so I can't remember some chapters...but I loved the beginning, and the end. Well...the end is a little cruel, and strange, but it's surprising at least!
Now I'm reading an Advanced Reader Copy of Madrigal, a new book which is going to be for sale soon. Her author is a good friend of mine and she want my review to include in the book publicity. So, I'm reading it all the quick I can! For now it's really fine, indeed. Her Erik is totally Leroux based and that is something really wonderful...
