Anybody see New Moon yet? Can anyone tell us how it compares to the first one?
What about Jacob?

I heard there was no more emo-lighting, but I know I'll never waste my time on anything Twilight-related again.
HOWEVER! I will admit Taylor Lautner can act, and is way better looking than RPattz.

Okay, I'm stupid here. What is emo-lighting? And why not see another Twilight film? I rather liked the first one. Didn't care for the book, but the film was pretty good. What didn't you like?

Okay, somebody tell us why it was better than the first. Then somebody tell us why is sucked? You can explain without giving away too much. After all, most of us have read the book. Details please...

I really want to see New Moon. So I'll give my thoughts on it then. I can't wait for it to come out on the Internet.

I'm a new fan of Twilight! I just finished reading the first two books in the series, and am currently waiting for Eclipse to arrive. I haven't seen "New Moon", the movie version yet, but I may go this week if I can manage it. I'm sooo anxious to see it!

I saw New Moon a few days ago and I rather liked it. In my opinion it was better than Twilight. The style of acting may be the complaint. Personally it seemed rather moody and deep. Indeed the feel of Romeo and Juliet was there. It didn't bother me. The moodiness added to the intensity.
Too long in length? Not for me. I was waiting for more when Edward proposed. This one had much more movement, more action and more of a plot and less high school. I give it two thumbs up. Whoo hoo!

Today I saw "New Moon". I agree with PhantomnessFay. I liked the movie very much. It was much better than "Twilight", but they also had a much larger movie budget this time around. I too would have liked to see a longer movie, and was sad that it ended when Edward proposed, but then we have something to look forward to in the next episode. Eclipse, the novel, should be arriving here soon, and I'm very anxious to read it.

To be honest, I've never been partial to the Twilight "saga" (That's what they're calling it now? Sounds like something out of Star Wars). But I have made it through the books and watched the first movie, but I've found both to be overbearing and cliche. Anyway, I gave new Moon a chance to redeem itself. I want my $10.50 back. This movie, though I admit better than the first (which is no amazing feat) was just as poorly acted and portrayed by its paper-thin characters. The actual spectacle and direction of the film was good (Though I think that we could have done with less half-naked men. I'm a girl as much as any, but I don't come to the movies to see that), but all I saw was the sex and cheeseyness of the story. I was really disapointed because I thought that with a bigger buget, the movie would be a lot better. Unfortunatly, I felt it failed to deliver.

In "New Moon", the shirtless young men were depicted as such, because that's how they were presented in the novel. They were werewolves that could change without a moments notice, and their clothes were ripped to shreads from the sheer size of their transformantion, so they hung out in the woods without shirts, wearing cut-offs. The movie held true to the novel, which I very much enjoyed. The only disappointment I had was that it ended.
In "Twilight", the movie, there were some variances from the novel, but those changes were improvements that were very much needed.

I'm anxious to see "Eclipse", but I read they're changing some of the actors (not the main characters), because the actors wanted more money. I wish they would stick to all the original characters, especially in a movie series this popular. Changing actors is a mistake.
