| Hey guys, since this is about books I thought I'd post this here. Over at my blog, Evie Alexis: The Obsessive Writer, I've written a post about my upcoming release, Obsessive, Compulsive and Published! (available Dec. 2009). The focus is on the heroine of the novel, Erika Seals and some of her random musings. Just read, post and you're eligible for a chance to win a ten dollar gift certificate at Barnes&Noble. The winner will be announced on Sunday, 8/23/09. When the novel releases I'll throw in the copy for free. The winning post will be selected by my husband, as he has no allegiance to chick-lit, romance or any of my writing groups. Hope to see you guys there. | |

| Thanks for posting, Fay! You know, I just realized something very neat about this thread. When there's a new post in a thread there's a close up of a red rose. When I have read it, it's the far away rose. Of course, you savvy people knew that, but I didn't. Allow me to savor the genius of this site's design. | |

| Those who are genius are too smart to look for simple things like the close up rose and the distant rose. You have more important things to think about. | |

| Lol at the genius comments. I'd like to think of myself as a genius, but alas, my husband is right. He calls me "Ms. Oblivious". I've bumped this thread up to see if you guys could help me out with a quick vote. My book received a very nice review at a site called, "The Long and Short of It" and has been nominated for "Book of the Week." I know, the prestige! You don't need to sign up for anything, just click on the link, find the book by Evie Alexis and vote, unless there's another book there that you'd rather vote for instead. I'm all for democracy. Thanks and take care. | |

| Clicked on the link and found your book, but no where to vote. Am I blind? Where is the spot to vote? | |
