Swine Flu

I dont know about you but I am fed up to the back teeth about hearing about swine flu. So far only a minor handful of those infected have actually died so really its no worse than regular flu. If I hear people go on, on, on, on, and on about swine flu Im telling you I'll hit someone!!
How about you? Sick of the media hype or *cough oink oink* just plain sick?

I think the only reason the media is making such a huge deal of this is they have nothing else to talk about. The talk has died down a bit (thankfully) but it's still annoying to walk to the post office to mail a letter and have someone behind you cough and then say "Oh, I think I'm getting the Swine Flu! I should probably go see a doctor!!!!!"

Well we have 68 cases and rising but so far no one has died and the meningoccol (sp?) outbreak is like being shoved into the background and its seriously deadly! Just annoys me though.

Haha, I've never even heard of it! I'll google it though.

At my school everyone is overreacting! My earth science teacher frog marched us to the back of the room to show us proper handwashing techniques! They send home anyone with a cough or stuffynose! only two people have had it.

There are 5 people being quarantined at the college up the road because of it, and they went in today and disinfected everyone's dorm!

they put up signs at my school in the cafatirea saying " Please disinfect your handsbefore entering lunch line" it getting realy annoying that i have to keep hearing about it

I heard my old high school brought in someone to teach the students there how to sneeze properly! It was called "The Vampire" or "The Dracula"...something along those lines.

LOL. I have something to add. I am very proud to proclaim that I am the first person to import Swine Flu into tonga (its near fiji....google earth it). I think I caught it from a Dude stood behind me in quarentine at NZ airprot but I dunno. But I got sick there, enormas fever, went to the hospital and they're like nah its just normal flu but they took tests and then two days before I left the hospital got on the radio and said that the first case of swine flu in Tonga was from Australia, female etc etc and they meant me. Its like hmmmmm.......

I have it too.
It's more annoying than anything else.
I can't role me eyes because it hurts.
Which is sad, because rolling my eyes is something I greatly enjoy.

There were a total of 300 students at my school absent this past Wednesday. I think that there are only 6 confirmed cases in my county, but 5 are at my school. The whole ordeal isn't a big thing, but it's crazy since everybody is sick. On top of that, pnemonia, bronchidis, and strep throat are all going around too. I haven't had swine flu or any of those things, I've luckily gotten away with a nasty cough, but it gets pretty hellish when everyone you know is sick.

I think they should just close infected public schools. No one is there anyway, and when they get back they will be swamped with make-up work.

i had swine flu right after my birthday witch officaly sucked
i dont know why but I always seem to get sick right after my birthday.
and its not really any differnt from regular flu
