Gerard Butler Has Bush with Death Surfing in New Film

Did anyone hear about the Gerry's accident surfing in his new film? He was trapped under a big wave. He is all right, but they did take him to the hospital.

That is so scary. I'm glad he wasn't killed or injured. Love that man!

Wow, that was awful! That sounds like one dangerous place- and surfers have died there!
I'm so glad Gerry survived unscathed (except maybe not emotionally, from the way that first report told it, but I hope that's momentary too).

He was my introduction to Phantom of the Opera, so he (and his portrayal of Erik) will always hold a special place in my heart.

From what I understand, he'll get over it, but for the moment he is still shaken. I would be too, trapped under a big wave, thinking you may drown. Yikes! Sad

The film is called "Chasing Mavericks" and will be released on October 26, 2012. Gerry looks good as usual.
