If you're looking for a really good book...

I saw this book wasn't mentioned and I have to say, it is one of the best Phantom phanphics I've read for a sequel based on Gaston Leroux's phantom.
I normally don't like G.L. based sequels- (I've read a few E/C ones at fanfiction that were really good, but I prefer 2004 movie based stories) - but this book was outstanding! What a Face It snagged my interest from the first page and didn't let go. It's E/C based and a historical (both of which I love and read the most, so that drew me immediately). I received it from my secret sister for Christmas a few years ago when I mentioned I'd like to read it on another PotO forum.
I'm not one bit sorry I did!

The plot was amazing, the story and characters seemed in keeping with G.L.s (I read his book and Kay's too) - full of mystery, adventure, and romance, never a dull moment (I could hardly put it down) - and well, you just have to read it for yourself.
Also (and a big plus with me) it didn't have a lot of the grammatical errors and typos or misspellings that many self-published fanfics tend to have (since many don't use copyeditors to go over the work).

If you want to know more about the summary, this is from Amazon:

Christine de Chagny is still haunted.

When the Opera Ghost sent Christine away to marry his rival, the youthful and winsome Vicomte Raoul de Chagny, she promised the Ghost that she would return to bury him when he died. Unable to keep her word and tormented by grief and regret, she starts writing letters to the man she believes to be dead-only to discover that some Ghosts can never be laid to rest.

Picking up where Gaston Leroux's novel ended, Letters to Erik is a story of forgiveness, redemption, and steadfast love.

If you go to Amazon to search for it - (I can't post the link here since I'm still new) - I think you will see from the 44 responses and majority of high ratings there that I'm not the only one who calls this book a winner! lol )

I've heard it was good, but this is the first review. Thanks for that.
